Let customers export or import products directly from XLSX file to "Cart" for final purchase
Overview
Custom feature that could help users running business on Odoo Website Module is to let their customers export or import products directly from XLSX file to "Cart" for final purchase.
Features
Users can download an Excel file containing the available products in the shop.
Users can update the quantity of products in the downloaded file and then import it to add those products to their cart.
The app allows for easy bulk import of products to the cart.

This feature is accessible only to customers who are logged in.

We have added two buttons in the shop cart page of the Odoo Website for the customers - Download and Upload.
As the user triggers the âDownloadâ button, all the products from the Odoo database which are available or in stock will be exported in an XLSX file.
Users can click on the âUploadâ button, which will open a popup. Odoo Website Module then lets you add the selected products from the XLSX file to the shopping cart upon selecting the file.
Update the product quantity and remove unnessacery products from downloaded excel file and then upload the same file here.
Select the updated excel file and then click on "Upload to Cart" button.
This way, customers will not have to worry about going through the âAdd to Cartâ process over and over again. They can simply download the available products file, select products as per the need, and upload it to the shopping cart page.
