Airtel Money POS Payments
Accept Airtel Money at the till — one app, nothing else to buy. The cashier pushes a request-to-pay to the customer’s phone; they approve with their PIN and the order settles by itself. Verified against Airtel, single-use receipts, a full transaction log.
The cashier taps Airtel Money and enters the number; the customer approves the prompt on their own phone with their own PIN.
Double-settled orders. The till re-asks Airtel itself and claims each payment atomically — one payment settles exactly one order, even under a race.
App to install. It carries the Airtel connection, the account settings and the ledger — no free engine, no rail add-on to buy separately.

Every shilling, logged and sliceable
Every payment lands in the Airtel Money transaction log — date, phone, amount, reference, Airtel Money ID and status, colour-coded and totalled. Successful, Pending, Request Sent and Failed at a glance; filter and group for reconciliation.
One account, your Airtel market, stated explicitly
Pick your market (Airtel routes every payment by country), set Sandbox or Production, and paste the credentials from your Airtel onboarding pack. The market is never guessed — so a Zambian till can never accidentally address money to another country.
Cashiers charge; only managers see the keys
Client secret, disbursement PIN and RSA key are manager-only — a cashier can take a payment without ever reading, exporting or RPC-ing your credentials. Amounts follow the market’s currency decimals, so K10.50 is charged as K10.50, never rounded away.
From install to first payment in one afternoon
Install the app — an Airtel Money menu appears. Add an account, choose your market, paste your Client ID and Secret, and hit Test Connection.
Create a POS payment method with terminal Airtel Money, point it at your account, add it to your register. Open a session and start collecting — every payment lands in the log.
