Preview Before Download
Unlike traditional PDF reports that automatically download to your computer, this module displays PDF reports in an interactive preview dialog first. You have full control to review the document, print directly, or download manually - giving you flexibility and saving unnecessary file downloads!
How It Works
Step 1: Configure Print Settings
Access your user menu and select "Print preview" to configure your printing preferences. Enable "Print preview" to see reports before printing, or enable "Automatic printing" to print reports directly without preview.
Step 2: Generate Reports
When you generate any PDF report in Odoo (invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.), the module will intercept the report generation and present it using Print.js. You can preview the report in a modal dialog with options to maximize the view or print directly.
Step 3: Print or Preview
Click the print button in the preview dialog to send the report directly to your printer, or simply preview the document before printing. The dialog supports full-screen mode for better viewing experience.
