Odoo 17 POS Close Session Background (Community)

POS Close Session Background.

Note: This module is tested and working in Odoo community edition but not tested in Enterprise version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.

How to use

  • List of "In Progress" sessions.


  • Click to Close Session Background, when the schedular runs at the time the session is closed, and send mail to the responsible user.


  • Click on Stop Session Background to stop the process and close the session.


  • Search for the POS Close Session Scheduler in the settings.


  • Users can change the scheduler interval time, click on Run Manually, and close the session.




  • Sent mail to the responsible user when closing the session from the scheduler.


  • The menu for the session closes.


  • By clicking on the 'Accept' button, all open sessions in the backend will be closed and an email will be sent to the user responsible.
