Odoo 17 POS Order Synchronization (Community)
Note:
1) This module is tested and working in Odoo community edition but not tested in Enterprise version. And we are supporting Ubuntu OS and not Windows OS.
2) This module doesn't work with POS HR,POS Restaurant,POS Gift Card and POS Coupon Modules.
3) This module doesn't work with offline.

Features
- We can define type of users like Sales Person & Cashier.
- Sales Person only can make draft order from POS.
- Sales Persons only can see their own orders.
- Cashier can see all the draft orders of sales persons which are selected under that cashier. Cashier can pay those orders.
- View order history.
- Reprint paid and invoiced receipt from order list.
- Edit draft order.
- Restrict sales person to give discount and change price.
- Sales person can not give discount beyond the assigned limit. if he want to go beyond limit then manager authentication is required.
- There are two different methods for authentication like by security PIN number or by scan Barcode of Manager.The method should be used based on configuration of user.
How to use
- As per below images, user can define type for different users based on cashier and sales person.
- Here is configuration for cashier, user can assign multiple sales persons to particular cashier.
- User have to configure for the order sync and operation restriction from the pos config.
- As shown in images, sales person can only create draft orders and can show their orders in the order sync screen.
- Here is the 'Sales Person 1' draft orders which he can modify, delete and print receipt.
- The salesperson can see their own orders.
- Here is the 'Sales Person 2' draft orders which he can modify, delete and print receipt.
- The salesperson can see their own orders.
- As soon as Sales person make draft order then immediately cashier will get notification and order in cashier POS and cashier can do reprint, delete, payment from POS.
- The cashier can view the list of product details for the order.
- Sales persons can only give limited discount, they can give more discount based on the manager's authentication which is based on the pin or barcode as per configuration.
