Magalu orders are imported into Base and can be mirrored into Odoo as sales orders, with buyer data, line items, shipping data and discounts depending on your configuration.

Base can update Magalu order statuses according to your configured status mappings and automation rules.

INVOICING / NF

Invoice and NF handling

Base can send invoice/NF data to Magalu orders. Magalu may require the NF to be accepted before labels or shipments can proceed.

Stock sync

Odoo/Base stock is pushed to Magalu on the selected interval. Base sends stock to Magalu; it does not download stock changes made manually in Magalu. Intervals: off, 8 h, 3 h, 1 h, 5 min.

Odoo/Base price groups drive Magalu offer prices. Base supports price rules, rounding, multipliers, fixed additions, marketplace fee additions and promotional/original price fields. Intervals: off, 24 h, 12 h, 4 h, 1 h, 5 min.

Offer import, association and bulk updates

Import Magalu offers into Base, associate them with products, edit offer data and run bulk updates. SKU is the key offer identifier and must be unique.

Variants

Variants can be handled as separate offers or variant groups. New variants cannot safely be added to an existing Magalu offer directly from Base; add them in Magalu and then import/associate in Base.

Category and required attributes

Magalu listings require marketplace-specific fields: SKU, brand, NBM/origin, warranty, active status, dimensions and weight. Magalu Open API also requires model and package dimensions/weight.

Returns

Returns are supported in Magalu Open API. The older Magalu integration does not download returns. Use Magalu Open API to have full return visibility in Base.

LOGISTICS

Shipping and tracking

Base can add shipment data to Magalu orders and pass tracking information. Tracking URLs for own shipping must use HTTPS. Courier mapping is configured in Base.com.

Magalu Entregas

Magalu Entregas and Magalu Open API Entregas are configured as separate courier integrations in Base. Fulfillment is handled through a separate Magalu Open API Fulfillment integration.

BRAZIL ONLY

Brazilian fiscal data

Magalu requires Brazilian fiscal and logistics data: NCM, origin, SKU, dimensions, weight and invoice/NF data. Missing SKU, NCM, unit or product association can block NF validation.

TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS

Technical limitations to be aware of

  • Magalu Open API is the recommended integration.
  • The older Magalu integration does not support returns.
  • SKU is unique and works as the offer identifier. If a SKU already exists in Magalu, even as inactive or draft, it cannot be reused as a new offer.
  • Base does not download stock from Magalu. Manual stock changes in Magalu can cause discrepancies.
  • Offers cannot be hard-deleted through the API; Magalu allows deactivation instead.
  • Draft offers may not be visible through the API, depending on the integration and offer status.
  • Product variants cannot reliably be added to an existing Magalu offer directly from Base.
  • Autosell and productization are not supported.
  • Description length is limited to 7000 characters, counted with HTML.
  • Dimensions are sent in centimeters and weight in grams.
  • Magalu may return API throttling errors, for example 429 Too Many Requests.
  • Magalu may block label creation until the NF is validated and accepted.
  • NF cancellation is usually limited to 24 hours from issue.

Install the Base Connector module in Odoo

Install from the Odoo App Store on your Odoo 17.0 instance, Community or Enterprise.

Generate an Odoo API key from this module

Open Base Magalu Connector in Odoo, generate the API key, then copy the key together with your database name and login.

Paste credentials into Base.com and connect Magalu

In Base, add the Odoo API key, database name and user. Then connect your Magalu seller account through the Magalu OAuth flow.

  • Database name + technical user – used by Base.com to authenticate

  • Active Base.com subscription – with access to the Magalu integration
  • Magalu seller account – Brazilian seller account using organization/CNPJ data
  • Magalu Open API access – OAuth grant from Base during onboarding
  • Base Sales module enabled – required for order centralization
  • Sync intervals configured – stock and price sync configured in Base.com
  • Courier mapping – required for shipment and tracking updates

EXTERNAL SERVICE NOTICE

Base Connector relies on Base.com to operate. The Odoo module by itself only issues the API key and exposes data through the Odoo External API – the rest of the integration logic, including the Magalu connection, runs on Base.com infrastructure. An active Base.com subscription with Magalu integration access is required for the connector to function.

FAQ

The questions that come up first

Do I need a Base.com account to use this module?

Yes. The Odoo module on its own only generates an API key. The actual Magalu integration runs on Base.com, so an active Base subscription with access to the Magalu integration is required.

Does this cover Magalu Brazil?

Yes. The integration is for Magalu Brazil.

Should I use Magalu or Magalu Open API?

Magalu Open API is the recommended integration. The older Magalu integration has fewer capabilities, for example it does not support returns.

Is the stock sync close to real time?

The fastest standard interval is every 5 minutes. You can also use 1 h, 3 h, 8 h or turn stock sync off.

Can I use Magalu Entregas?

Yes, but it is configured as a separate courier integration in Base.com. Magalu Open API Fulfillment is also a separate fulfillment integration.

Does it work with multiple Magalu accounts?

Yes. Multiple Magalu accounts can be managed in Base, for example matriz and filial. Automation rules, courier mappings and freight tables should be configured per account.
