Shopee Brazil orders are imported into Base and mirrored into Odoo as sales orders, with buyer data, line items, shipping data and marketplace status information. Order processing stays in Base, the financial trail stays in Odoo.

Cancellation handling
Base can react to Shopee cancellation requests and import cancellation information. Sending cancellation statuses back to Shopee is limited by the Shopee API – only selected cancellation reasons are supported.

Base supports Shopee Brazil fiscal requirements around invoice/XML forwarding and marketplace validation. Fiscal data must be correct before shipment steps are completed.

Several Odoo companies can be connected through Base, provided the account, product, stock and mapping setup is separated correctly. Each company can use its own API key and mapping.

TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS
Technical limitations to be aware of
- Shopee integration is documented for Shopee Brazil / shopee.com.br. Do not assume support for other Shopee countries without separate verification.
- Shopee does not accept HTML in offer descriptions. Descriptions are limited to 3000 characters.
- Shopee variants support a maximum of 2 variation levels. More complex Odoo variant structures may need to be simplified before listing.
- Stock and price synchronization require correct offer-to-product association in Base. If an offer is not linked to a product, synchronization will not work.
- Shopee may block price or stock updates while an offer is in a promotion.
- Only limited cancellation statuses can be sent to Shopee via API.
- Shopee Full/Fulfillment labels may need to be handled directly in Shopee Seller Center.
- If shipment is already created, Shopee may reject XML sent through API – manual upload may be required.
- Shopee token expiry may require manual reconnection in Base.
- Category and parameter mappings are configured per Shopee account and should not be assumed to copy between accounts.

Install the Base Connector module in Odoo
Install from the Odoo App Store on your 17.0 instance (Community or Enterprise). Enable External API in Odoo settings and make sure the Inventory module is installed.

Generate an Odoo API key from this module
Open the Base Connector module in Odoo, generate the API key, then copy the key together with your database name and the technical user it was issued for.

Paste credentials into Base.com and connect Shopee Brazil
In Base, add the Odoo API key, database name and user. Then connect your Shopee Brazil seller account using the Shopee authorization flow.

Do I need a Base.com account to use this module?
Yes. The Odoo module on its own only generates an API key – it does not connect to Shopee directly. The actual integration runs on Base.com, so an active Base subscription with a connected Shopee Brazil seller account is required.
Does this cover all Shopee countries?
No. The documented Base integration is for Shopee Brazil / shopee.com.br. Do not assume support for other Shopee markets without separate verification.
Are Shopee orders created as sales orders in Odoo?
Yes. Shopee orders are imported into Base and mirrored into Odoo as sales orders with buyer data, order lines and shipping information.
Is the stock sync close to real time?
Stock sync can be configured in Base, with intervals down to 5 minutes or near real-time depending on subscription and setup.
Where do I configure the Shopee side?

Does this support Brazilian invoice/XML flow?
Yes. Base supports forwarding invoice/XML data to Shopee Brazil. The flow must be configured correctly, and Shopee may reject XML if the shipment has already been created.
Can I use HTML descriptions?
