User and Date Based Chatter Filter
Filter Chatter by Email, Mentions, and Date
Advanced Chatter Filter allows users to streamline communication tracking by enabling powerful filters directly within the chatter section of any record. With this module, users can filter messages by specific users, select message types such as internal notes, emails, or log messages, and apply date range filters to focus only on relevant communication. The built-in sorting option helps organize chatter messages chronologically or by user, making it easier to review important conversations and updates within busy records.
All Users
View all log messages in the chatter.
User Filter
Choose a user to filter messages relevant to them. It lists all users who have logged messages in that model.
Date Filter
Narrow down chatter messages by specific date ranges.
Mentions
View only messages where users are mentioned using '@'. If no user is selected, the active user to be visible.
Enabling Chatter Message Filter for a User
The 'Show Chatter Message Filter' field can be enabled from the user settings under Users & Companies → Users, allowing the selected user to access advanced chatter filtering options in Odoo.
Chatter Filters in Purchase Order View
The chatter section in the Purchase Order form view now includes filter options—All, User, and Date—allowing users to quickly sort messages based on activity type, specific users, or date range

The chatter section in the Purchase Order form view displays all activity logs and user messages related to the order
Filter Chatter by User
The chatter section in the Purchase Order form view allows users to filter communication logs by user, enabling easy tracking of updates and messages from specific team members.
The chatter section in the Purchase Order view is filtered to display only the messages and activities posted by the selected user.
Filter Chatter by Date
The message on the right side of the Purchase Order is filtered by date, and shows an update.
