Website SMS OTP Verification Odoo App enhances security by implementing two-factor authentication via SMS OTP for website logins. This app ensures a robust authentication process by requiring users to verify their identity through a one-time password sent to their registered mobile number, adding an extra layer of security to prevent unauthorized access. This app protect customer accounts, and provide a reliable login mechanism that ensures only legitimate users gain access to their accounts.
Configuration for OTP Authentication
User can configure otp authentication from website.
Send OTP to Given Phone Number
User can see otp will be send to valid given Phone Number.
Display OTP Expire Time
User can see otp expire time and within time limit they can login or sing-up successfully.
Select Phone Number Verification Method
User can select Phone Number verification by 'Send OTP' or 'Password'.
Website SMS OTP Configuration
Goto Website -> Configuration -> Otp Configuration menu in that enable sign-in SMS/sign-up SMS authentication, set otp time limit and otp type also enter email to send otp from particular email.
User Sign Up Form
You can fill sign up form and click on 'Send SMS OTP' link for send otp to entered Phone Number.
OTP Sent to Given Phone Number
You can see otp has been sent to given Phone Number and also display live otp expiry.
Enter Invalid OTP
When you enter otp which is invalid then validation message display.
Resend SMS OTP
If otp time limit expire that time you can use 'Resend SMS OTP' link for resend otp to given Phone Number.
Enter Valid OTP
When you entered otp which is valid then you can sign up successfully.
Here you can see account details of user.
Validation for Phone Number
You cannot sing up twice with using same Phone Number.
User Sign In Form
You can enter email address and click on 'Next' button.
Select Verification Method
You can select email address verification by 'Send SMS OTP' and 'Password' then click on 'Next' button.
OTP Sent to Registered Phone Number
You can see otp has been sent to Registered Phone Number using email address and also display live otp expiry.
Resend SMS OTP
If otp time limit expire that time you can use 'Resend SMS OTP' link for resend otp to given Phone Number.
Enter Valid OTP
When you entered otp which is valid then you can log in successfully.
Here you can see account details of user.
Enter Invalid OTP
When you enter otp which is invalid then validation message display.
Enter Invalid Username/Email Address
When you enter username/email address which is invalid/wrong then validation message display.
