How to Use
Set up Activities Management on your Odoo 17 instance in a few simple steps.
Install the Module
Install Activities Management from the Apps menu. It depends only on Mail, Base Setup and Contacts — no third-party module required. Works on Odoo 17 Community and Enterprise.
Configure User Access Roles
Open each internal user and set their Activity Role — Employee, Supervisor or Manager. Access to menus, supervisor scope and dashboard counters adapt automatically to the chosen role.
Open the Activity Dashboard
Go to Activities › Dashboard. Visualize 5 live counters (All, Planned, Completed, Overdue, Cancelled) and the accordion tables. Filter by user, supervisor or any date range to focus on what matters.
Search & Filter Activities
Use the enhanced search view with built-in filters for Planned, Today, Overdue, Completed, Cancelled, Archived, group-bys (User, Supervisor, Activity Type, Model, Tags, State) and a left Search Panel for one-click navigation.
Edit an Activity in Place
Click the Edit button on any dashboard row to open the activity in a modal. Update assignees, supervisor, tags, deadline and notes without leaving your current screen. Save and the dashboard refreshes automatically.
Mark as Done with Feedback
Close any activity through the wizard: capture a feedback note, choose Done or Done & Schedule Next to chain a follow-up activity in one click. Feedback is logged on the source document's chatter.
