Overview

Tired of creating extra journal entries for bank fees, commissions, or other charges on customer and vendor payments? This module supercharges Odoo's payment register to let you split a single payment across multiple accounts seamlessly. It simplifies your accounting process, reduces manual errors, and saves valuable time.

Key Features

  • Split Payments Instantly
  • Handle Bank Charges & Fees with Ease
  • Flexible for Inbound & Outbound Payments
  • Clean & Intuitive UI
  • Reduces Manual Errors
  • Improves Accounting Accuracy

How It Works: Customer Payments

Example: A customer pays a $1,000 invoice, but your bank charges a $15 fee.

1. Open the payment register as usual.
2. In the new "Amount Breakdown" tab, add a line for "Bank Charges".
3. Select your "Bank Fees" expense account and enter $15.
4. Click "Create Payment".

That's it! Odoo automatically creates the correct journal entries.

How It Works: Vendor Payments

Example: You are paying a vendor bill of $500, and there is a $5 wire transfer fee.

1. Open the payment register for the vendor bill.
2. In the "Amount Breakdown" tab, add a line for "Bank Charges".
3. Select your "Bank Fees" expense account and enter $5.
4. Click "Create Payment".

The system will create a payment for $495 to the vendor and record the $5 bank fee, all in one step.
