State-aware guard on locked documents
Pasting into a posted invoice or a locked/cancelled order is blocked with a clear, plain-language message — never a silent failure or a raw traceback.
Company-level default settings
Configure company-wide default field toggles for the paste wizard — price, discount and taxes — from a single Settings screen.
How it works
Duplicate or copy
Click Duplicate on a single line, or Copy on the header to send the whole document's lines to your clipboard.
Open the target document
Go to any Sales Order, Purchase Order, Invoice or Bill — even a different document type — and click Paste.
Review and select
In the paste wizard, tick which lines and which fields to bring across, then confirm.
Save as preset or revert
Save a good configuration as a reusable preset, or open the audit log to revert a paste in one click.

Frequently asked
Can I copy lines between different document types, like a Sales Order into a Purchase Order?
Yes. The clipboard and paste wizard map shared fields (product, quantity, unit of measure, unit price, discount and taxes) across Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices and Bills, so a copied line stays consistent wherever you paste it.
What happens if I try to paste into a confirmed or locked document?
The module checks the target document's state before writing anything. If it is posted, locked or cancelled, you get a clear message explaining why the paste cannot proceed — never a silent failure or a technical error.
Can I undo a paste if I select the wrong lines?
Yes. Every paste is recorded in the audit log together with the exact lines it created. A manager can open that log entry and click "Revert this paste" to unlink those lines in a single step.
Are presets personal or can my whole team use them?
Either. When you save a preset you choose to keep it personal or mark it company-shared, so recurring baskets can be reused by the whole team or kept to yourself.
