Fleet operations and passenger booking, finally unified.
Manage your bus fleet, routes, and trip schedules while passengers search, pick a seat, and check out online — refunds, reviews, and occupancy reporting included, all in one Odoo app.
Bus and coach operators juggle a booking widget, a payment gateway, and a manual phone-booking desk that do not talk to each other. Seat inventory, route planning, and check-in live in disconnected tools, causing double-bookings, zero visibility into daily occupancy, and slow, inconsistent refund decisions that erode passenger trust.
One Odoo application covers fleet and route configuration, trip scheduling with row-locked seat inventory, a public search-and-book website, and a self-service passenger portal — plus a configurable refund-rule engine and attribute-level reviews, so operations and booking finally share a single system of record.
Everything a bus operator needs to sell seats
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Fleet & bus type configuration
Define seater/sleeper bus types with seat layouts, amenities with fare impact, and a fleet kanban grouped by active/maintenance/retired status.
Route & stop management
Build routes with ordered intermediate pick-up and drop-off stops, distance, duration, and a base fare, so passengers are never limited to origin/destination-only travel.
Trip scheduling
Schedule departures, assign a driver and conductor, and generate a per-trip seat-inventory layer that tracks the full trip lifecycle from draft to completed.
Interactive, overbooking-proof seat map
A click-to-select seat map on the public website shows available, held, and booked seats in real time. Each seat is a locked inventory row, so two passengers can never book the same seat.
Multi-step booking & dynamic pricing
Search, select seats, choose pick-up/drop-off, and pay in one guided flow. Pricing rules adjust fares by route, bus type, or date, with automatic group discounts above a configurable seat count.
Check-in & manifest
A dedicated check-in board groups today's bookings by state, with per-passenger check-in and no-show tracking so boarding staff always know who has arrived.
Transparent refunds & cancellation
A configurable refund-rule engine applies percentage tiers by hours-before-departure, global or per route. A cancellation wizard shows passengers the exact refund before they confirm.
Attribute-level reviews & e-tickets
Passengers rate comfort, punctuality, cleanliness, and amenities on every completed trip. Moderated reviews surface on the search results, and every booking gets a QWeb e-ticket with a barcode.
Self-service passenger portal
A "My Bookings" archive with e-tickets, one-click rebooking after a cancellation, and an internal payment log with a retry action for failed transactions.

Frequently asked
Does this include both backend fleet operations and the passenger booking website?
Yes. This is a single, self-contained application — fleet, route, and trip management for your operations team plus the public search/booking website and authenticated passenger portal all ship in one purchase. No second module or vendor integration is required.
How does the app prevent double-booking the same seat?
Each bus seat has a dedicated per-trip inventory row. Booking a seat locks that exact row, so two passengers attempting to book the same seat at the same time are serialized by the database — the second request is rejected with a clear "seat already taken" message instead of silently overbooking.
Can refund percentages differ by route, or are they fixed globally?
Refund tiers are fully configurable by hours-before-departure and refund percentage, and can be set globally or overridden per route. Passengers see the exact applicable refund percentage before confirming a cancellation.
Does the app support online payments out of the box?
Bookings are tracked through an internal payment log (pending/done/failed/refunded) with a retry action for failed attempts, giving you full transaction visibility for reconciliation. Connecting a specific payment gateway is a straightforward customization we can help with as part of your 30 days of included support.
