Frequently asked
Does this replace Odoo's built-in event barcode?
No — it builds on it. Odoo Events already generates a unique barcode per registration; this module adds QR configuration, a dedicated ticket report, gate-scanning with instant feedback, check-in write-back, and a full audit trail on top of that existing barcode.
Do I need special scanning hardware?
No. The check-in scanner works with any camera-equipped device, a USB HID (keyboard-wedge) barcode reader, or plain manual code entry — whichever your gate staff already have.
What happens if the same ticket is scanned twice?
The second scan is recorded as a duplicate and, if it falls inside your configured duplicate-scan window, the registration is automatically flagged for review — without blocking the line.
Can I see who has checked in during the event?
Yes. The event form shows a live check-in percentage, checked-in and flagged counts, and a full audit trail you can filter, group, and export to CSV by gate or time.
