Frequently asked
Will my chosen font actually appear in the printed PDF?
Yes. Profiles use either Odoo's bundled fonts or your uploaded font file, embedded directly into the PDF via @font-face, so there's no separate pipeline where a font can silently fail to appear.
Can I use different typography for invoices versus quotations?
Yes. Profiles can be scoped globally or to a specific document type — quotations, sales orders, invoices, delivery orders or purchase documents — so each one can have its own font, size and branding.
What happens if I don't like a change I made?
Every save creates a version snapshot. Open the Versions tab on any profile and restore a prior configuration with one click.
Do I need to edit QWeb templates or write code?
No. Every setting — font, size, color scheme, letterhead, watermark and style preset — is configured from a visual form with a live preview, and Odoo's report layout picks it up automatically.
