Barcodes and QR codes, one app, every business document
Print Barcode In Reports renders scannable barcodes and QR codes on Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Customer Invoices, Delivery Slips and Manufacturing Orders — configurable, previewable and ready in minutes.
Warehouse staff, delivery partners and customers cannot scan your paperwork the way they scan your product labels. Odoo's native barcode field stops at inventory, so document numbers still get re-keyed by hand and invoices cannot be verified with a quick scan — and every competing app forces you to buy a separate barcode tool and a separate QR tool just to cover a handful of report types.
Print Barcode In Reports puts barcodes and QR codes on five document families from one configuration screen. Preview exactly how each code will look before you print, choose the code type and content per document, and generate codes in bulk for existing catalogs — all without leaving Odoo or buying a second app.
Everything you need to print scannable documents
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Barcodes and QR Codes in One App
Render QR codes and Code128, EAN13 or DataMatrix barcodes from a single module, closing the gap where buyers currently need two separate apps.
Five Document Families Covered
Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Customer Invoices, Delivery Slips and Manufacturing Orders all get scannable codes without switching between five different tools.
Compatibility View
A single configuration list shows exactly which document types have codes enabled and which code type each one uses, so nothing is left as a guess after installing.
Live Preview
See the barcode or QR code rendered from your current settings and a sample value before it ever reaches a printed document.
Per-Document Configuration
Choose code type, encoded content, size and human-readable text independently for every document family.
Flexible Code Content
Encode the document reference, the customer or vendor name, a custom URL, or fixed custom text — whichever a document should scan to.
Bulk Generation Wizard
Assign barcodes to every existing product or contact that is still missing one, with a completion summary showing how many records were scanned and updated.
Auto-Generation on Create
Turn on a company setting and every new product or contact gets a barcode automatically the moment it is created.
Native Odoo Compatibility
Built on Odoo's own barcode field and the native payment QR code on invoices, so your existing data and Odoo 17+ payment QR functionality both keep working unchanged.
How it works
Enable & Configure
Turn on Report Barcodes in Settings and open the compatibility list to see all five supported document types.
Choose Code & Content
Pick a barcode or QR type and a data source — reference, partner, URL or custom text — for each document family.
Preview Before Printing
Check the live preview on the configuration form so you know exactly how the code will look before it reaches a document.
Print & Bulk-Generate
Print Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Delivery Slips and Manufacturing Orders with codes attached, and run the bulk wizard to backfill barcodes on existing products and contacts.

Frequently asked
Does this replace Odoo's native invoice payment QR code?
No. Odoo 17+ already prints a payment QR code on customer invoices; this module adds its own configurable code to invoices and extends the same capability to Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Delivery Slips and Manufacturing Orders, which native Odoo does not cover.
Can I use both barcodes and QR codes?
Yes. Each of the five document types has its own configuration, so you can put a QR code on Sales Orders, a Code128 barcode on Purchase Orders, and a DataMatrix code on Delivery Slips at the same time.
What happens to products and contacts that already have a barcode?
The bulk generation wizard only touches records with an empty barcode field by default, so existing barcodes are never overwritten.
Which Odoo versions are supported?
This listing covers Odoo 19; matching builds are also available for Odoo 18 and Odoo 17.
