Print journal entries as audit-ready PDFs
Print a single journal entry or a filtered batch as a clean, self-contained PDF with balanced debit/credit totals and reconciliation status — built natively on Odoo Accounting.
Odoo has no clean way to hand an auditor a single journal entry as a document. Teams screenshot the screen, export raw list views, or repurpose the General Ledger report — none of which produce a self-contained, filterable print of the entries actually being reviewed.
A one-click Print Entry button on every journal entry, plus a filterable batch print from the Journal Entries list, producing a formatted PDF with balanced totals and reconciliation status on every line.
Everything the print job needs
Every capability below is implemented in the module.
Print a Single Entry
A Print Entry button on the journal entry form produces a self-contained PDF of that entry in one click.
Batch Print from the List
Select any number of journal entries in the list view and print them all as one PDF, with each entry starting on its own page.
Filter Dialog for Batch Runs
Print without a manual selection: pick a date range, one or more journals, and a posting status (draft, posted, or all) and the wizard finds the matching entries.
Draft & Posted Coverage
Print entries in any state. Reviewers can print drafts under review just as easily as posted, finalized records.
Balanced Debit/Credit Layout
Every printed entry lists account, label, and partner per line, with debit and credit columns totalled at the bottom.
Reconciliation Status per Line
Each line shows whether it is reconciled, still open, or not a reconcilable account, so an auditor reads the document without switching screens.
Unbalanced-Entry Warning
If a printed entry's debit and credit totals do not match, the document flags it clearly so the issue is not missed on paper.
Company-Branded Output
Every PDF uses Odoo's standard company header and footer, so the document carries your logo and address and can stand alone as an official record.
Restricted to Accounting Roles
The print buttons and menu are only visible to users with accounting access, keeping the action out of the way for everyone else.

Frequently asked
Can I print just one entry, or several at once?
Both. Use the Print Entry button on a single journal entry's form, or select several entries in the list view and click Print Entries for one combined PDF.
Does it work for draft entries, not just posted ones?
Yes. The filter wizard's Status field lets you print draft, posted, or all entries, so reviewers can print entries still under review.
Does the printed document show reconciliation status?
Yes. Every line indicates whether it is reconciled, still open, or not a reconcilable account, so an auditor can read the document without switching screens.
Who can see the print buttons?
Only users with accounting access. The print buttons and the Print Journal Entries menu are restricted to Odoo Accounting user roles.
