This app adds a governed draft-to-publish workflow on top of the native website description: edit in the backend, preview before it goes live, publish with one click, and reuse templates or bulk-update many products at once.

Build a library of rich-text description templates and apply any of them to a product in one action, keeping storefront copy consistent across the catalog.
Automatic Version History
Every publish snapshots the previous live description, so editors can always see who changed a product's copy and when.
One-Click Restore
Restore any prior version straight from the history list — the current live copy is snapshotted first, so nothing is ever lost.
Bulk Update Wizard
Apply a template or a fixed description to many selected products at once, with an option to publish immediately, right from the product list Actions menu.

Write the draft
Open a product, go to the Website Copy tab, and write or apply a template in the draft editor.
Preview & publish
Open the live page to check the copy, then click Publish to push the draft to the storefront.
Reuse & bulk-apply
Save a template from any product, then apply it — or a fixed description — to many products at once.
Track & restore
Every publish is versioned automatically; browse the history and restore any prior copy in one click.

The Description Templates list shows every reusable template with a live count of the products using it.
Each template stores a full rich-text body that can be applied to any product in one click.
Every publish is saved to history with the author, timestamp, and a one-click Restore action.
The bulk wizard applies a template or a fixed description to many selected products at once, with an option to publish immediately.
The published description renders on the live storefront product page exactly as written in the backend draft.
Frequently asked
Does this replace Odoo’s native website description field?
No. It manages the same native website description field the storefront already renders, adding a draft, publish, template, and version layer on top of it — there are no new frontend templates to maintain.
What happens to my current descriptions when I install this?
Nothing changes on the storefront. Existing website descriptions keep displaying exactly as before; the module simply adds a governed draft and history workflow around them.
Can I update descriptions for many products at once?
Yes. The bulk update wizard, available from the product list Actions menu, applies a saved template or a fixed description to every selected product, with an option to publish immediately.
Can I undo a bad publish?
Yes. Every publish and restore automatically snapshots the previous live description to a version history, and any version can be restored with one click.
