Chatter Access Manager
This module is intended to control user access privileges, particularly to hide or show the Chatter featureâa messaging systemâin form views according to specified model-based criteria. This is an explanation of the features and operation of the module.
Features
- Control who can access the chatter function. Globally.
- Control the chatter feature model-based access permissions.
- Control user and model-based chatter feature access permissions.
- Support Community and Enterprise Editions
Setup
For the Chatter Access Manager icon to be activated and displayed on a user form, this option must be checked.

You can now see the Chatter Access Manager icon after the user activates Chatter Access Manager

Create a new Chatter Access Manager rule.
Creating an access rule with a rule name and controlling chatter hiding from a specific user model is simple. We'll apply the sale order model to the case.

Only specific users can see hidden chatter on the sale order model.

Applying global hide chatter is available for all Odoo models as well.
