What this module does
Inventory Analytics gives Odoo Inventory a proper reporting and KPI layer. A single interactive dashboard shows the health of your stock at a glance: on-hand value, dead-stock value, how many items are below minimum or negative, average turnover and average days of supply, alongside eight visuals that turn your raw stock into insight.
Every KPI and chart is clickable and opens the matching report: Stock Aging, ABC Analysis, Dead and Slow-Moving, Days of Supply, Below Minimum, Negative Stock, Turnover and DSI, and Daily Movement. Each report is a pivot, graph and list you can group, filter and export. Everything is computed live from your stock, quants and moves, so nothing goes stale and there is no scheduled job to wait for.
|
๐
One Command Dashboard
Six headline KPIs and eight visuals on one screen: a stock-health gauge, ABC donut, aging bands, an inventory quadrant, a daily-movement waterfall and more. |
๐
Click Through to Reports
Tap any KPI or chart and the matching report opens as pivot, graph and list. Slice it, group by company and export it. No spreadsheets. |
โก
Always Current
Figures are computed live from stock, quants and moves as you open them. No snapshot table to refresh, no scheduled job, nothing to go stale. |
|
๐ Stock Aging Bands
On-hand quantity grouped by how long it has been sitting, in bands you can edit (for example 0-30, 30-60, 60-90 and 90+ days). |
๐ ABC Analysis by Value
Pareto split of on-hand value into A, B and C classes with configurable cumulative cut-offs, so you focus on the vital few. |
|
๐ Dead & Slow-Moving
Every product with no movement past a threshold you choose, with the value tied up in it, so you can clear it out. |
๐ Turnover & Days of Inventory
Inventory turnover and DSI over a trailing window you set, so you can see how fast each product is really moving. |
|
๐จ Below-Minimum & Negative
Products under their minimum (reordering rule or a manual safety-stock figure) and any negative stock, flagged before they hurt. |
๐ Daily Movement Waterfall
Each day split into Receipts, Deliveries, Scrap and Adjustment with a running opening-to-closing balance per product. |
|
๐ข Company-Aware & Filtered
Every figure and the currency symbol follow the selected company. Filter the whole dashboard by company and product category. |
โ Tunable, No-Code Settings
Set the dead-stock threshold, ABC cut-offs, turnover window, below-minimum basis and whether value uses standard cost or accounting valuation. |

Frequently asked questions
Open the Inventory Analytics app and the Stock Aging report, or the Stock Aging card on the dashboard. On-hand quantity is grouped into aging bands by how long each quant has been in stock, and you can edit the bands to match your own buckets.
The ABC by value chart and the ABC Analysis report rank every product by on-hand value and split them into A, B and C classes using a cumulative Pareto cut-off. You set the A and B percentage thresholds in the settings, and the rest fall into C.
The Dead and Slow-Moving report and the dashboard's dead-stock KPI flag every product that has had no stock movement for longer than a threshold you choose, so you can see exactly how much value is tied up in items that are not selling.
The Below Minimum report and KPI list every product whose on-hand quantity is under its minimum. You choose the basis in the settings, either the product's reordering-rule minimum or a manual Safety Stock figure this module adds to the product form.
No. It works on Odoo Community using the product's standard cost. If Odoo Accounting inventory valuation is installed, you can switch the value basis to use the real posted inventory value instead, and the module detects it automatically.
Use the version selector at the top of this page to pick your Odoo release. Each branch is published as its own listing for that exact version, and it works on both Community and Enterprise.
