About

By default, Odoo combines all contacts in the Contacts app, making it difficult to distinguish between various types such as employees, customers, and vendors. This module enhances contact identification by providing distinct menus and filters for customers, vendors, and employees, streamlining your contact management process.
How it Works

This module assigns contacts to one of the following contact types:
- Customer: Contacts that you sell to or raise invoices for. These can be accessed through the customer menu or filtered using the "Customer Contacts" filter. New or existing contacts can be assigned a Customer contact type from the contact form.
- Vendor: Contacts that you buy from or raise bills for. These can be accessed through the vendor menu or filtered using the "Vendor Contacts" filter. New or existing contacts can be assigned a Vendor contact type from the contact form.
- Customer-Vendor: Businesses may engage in two-way transactions with some partners, meaning they can sell products/services to a vendor or vice versa. These contacts can be viewed through both the customer and vendor views or filtered using the "Customer-Vendor Contacts" filter. This contact type is automatically set when a sale/invoice is made to a contact with a Vendor type, or when a purchase/bill is raised for a contact with a Customer type.
- Employee: Contacts related to employees are automatically assigned the Employee contact type and can be viewed through the employee menu or filtered using the "Employee Contacts" filter.
