Overview
The Performance Evaluation of Employee app in Odoo is the module that helps in employee performance evaluation. Designed to evaluate the performance of employee, the module allows HR teams and managers to create customizable performance templates. HR team can break down reviews into sections for skills, achievements, and goals, providing a clear and detailed evaluation process.
Along with it HR team can also create batch evaluation record for multiple employee at a time. Also the evaluation report is accessible to HR, Manager & Employee throw a separate menu that holds the reporting values of both Employee & Manager separately.

Work Flow Of Evaluation
- User need to navigate to Settings >> Users & Companies >> Users and select user.
- In selected user form view there will a group Employee Performance Evaluation under Other.

- Further user need to create a Performance & Competencies template.
- To create Performance Template user need to Navigate to Performance Evaluation >> Configuration >> Performance Template.
- Here user will see some fields asking Template Name & a tree formate data asking Name, Description & Ratio.
- These fields are the template data that will be shown in evaluation record's Performance Details page.
- Similarly user can create Competencies Template by Navigating to Performance Evaluation >> Configuration >> Competencies Template.




- Here also user will see some fields asking Template Name & a tree formate data asking Name & Description.
- These fields are the template data that will be shown in evaluation record's Competencies Details page.

- Further user need to navigate to Employees >> Configuration >> Job Positions and select job position there user need to set the fields Performance Template & Competencies Template.

- Now user is all set with all the required configurations need for evaluation record creation.
- Now user can create Evaluation record with all the details & as soon as user enters the Employee Name details like Performance Template, Competencies Template along with Performance & Competencies Details page will automatically set based on Employee's job position.
- Later user need to set Start Date, End Date & Period fields data to proceed further.
- As soon as the record is saved with all the details with state Draft it will send a mail to selected Employee with evaluation record acknowledgment & a access link to particular record.
- Also there are buttons like Cancel & Assign To Employee which are only accessible to user with group HR Manager.
- Also some additional fields like Employee Rating, Employee Feedback, Final Rating & Final Feedback in Performance Details Page.
- And fields like Weight & Feedback in Competencies Details Page.



- Further user with group HR Manager will click on button Assign To Employee that will changes state to Handed To Employee & buttons Assign To Manager, Preview Rating & Preview Manager Rating will be visible.
- NOTE: buttons Assign To Manager & Preview Manager Rating will only be visible to user who has group HR Manager or Manager assigned.

- Employee can access the record and add feedback from the mail link and later clicking on Preview Rating button.
- Alternately employee can go to portal >> my account >> menu Employee Rating.
- Clicking on it will open a records of employees rating with all details shown in list view formate with a button Give Rating.
- Later clicking on Give Rating will open a particular evaluation record with all details and submit button at last.
- Here employee can give rating out of ratio set & their feedbacks also, the Final Rating, Final Feedback & Competencies details is readonly as it's there for manager only.
- Once employee enter their rating and feedback and click on button Submit employee will see a Thank You page.
- The submitted rating by employee will be set in Employee Rating & Employee Feedback value into backend record





- Later HR Manager group user will click on button Assign To Manager will change state to Handed To Manager and button Done will be visible only to user with group HR Manager.
- User will not see the record of evaluation once it's state is update to later state.


- Similarly like Employee, Manager can also access the portal record of evaluation by clicking on Preview Manager Rating button & also from portal >> my account >> menu Final Rating.
- NOTE: user with group HR Manager & Manager will only see the portal menu Final Rating.
- Similarly like Employee Rating, user will see a list format record with all details a button Give Rating.
- Clicking on button Give Rating will open a record with Employee Rating & Employee Feedback fields readonly.
- Later clicking on submit button will show a Thank You page & will set the data of Weight & Feedback into backend record.
- User with HR Manager group will click on button Done and state will be changed Done & also all the editable field in portal record will become readonly.






- User can create Batch Evaluation records by click on Batch Evaluation menu.
- Clicking on Batch Evaluation menu it will open a wizard asking details like Start Date, End Date, Period, Performance Template, Competencies Template & Employee.


- Clicking on Evaluation button will create Evaluation record with the details entered in wizard.

- User see the reporting of evaluation from the Reporting menu and further Performance & Competencies Reporting.
