Cash Transfer Management For POS
Overview
The Cash Transfer Management for POS module in Odoo streamlines the process of transferring cash. It enhances cash control by allowing users to track and record cash movements, ensuring transparency and accuracy in cash handling. Additionally the Cash Transfer can be done only if the user Enables the "Allow POS Session Cash Transfer" group.

Cash Transfer Management For POS
- Navigate to Settings >> Users there user will find Allow POS Session Cash Transfer under the Extra Rights section.
- Navigate to Settings >> Point Of Sale under "Accounting" in Default Journals user will have Cash Transfer.
- Navigate to Point Of Sale >> Orders >> Sessions open the Last Closed Session.
- Here user will the Cash Transfer Button in header, A Smart button Cash Transfers & fields Transferred and Final Ending Balance.
- Here if user has opened the Session that is not Last Closed and clicks on Cash Transfer it will show a Message with the Last Closed Session name.
- When user click on Cash Transfer button a wizard asking for Journal, Amount & Destination Journal details will appear and Generate Cash Transfer button.
- Here the by default Journal & Destination Journal will be set as Cash and Amount with amount of Ending Balance.
- Here user can edit Amount and then click on Generate Cash Transfer button.
- Clicking on Generate Cash Transfer will a create Payment with Journal, Destination Journal & Amount details entered in wizard.
- Also it will create a Journal Entry again the Payment created.
- When user will click on Confirm button from the Payment created it will create a Reconciled Items.
- Coming back to PO Session it will increase the count in Cash Transfer smart button also the Transferred & Final Ending Balance will be updated.
