Setup Guide
Everything you need for a seamless integration.
- Create powerful reports like this.
- Navigate to Power Bi Connector.
- Navigate to Configuration .
- Click on New.
- Navigate to notebook page Desktop Connector
- Click on button Generate Token to generate Authentication Token.
- Open PowerBi Desktop >> Get Data From Other Sources.
- Search Odoo Connector By Creyox Technologies.
- Click on Button Connect.
- Here Add the URL And Authorization Token generated from Odoo.
- Here Add the Authorization Token.
- Click on Connect.
- Select The table of which you want to fetch the data.
- Quickly find the tables you need using the search bar.
- Click on button Load .
- The Imported Data Can Be found in Power Bi Sheet.
- Click On Refresh Data to Refresh Data of Table.

Click on Button Publish to Publish Report in Power Bi Service.
Navigate to Report in Power Bi Service. - Click on View Semantic Model.
- Click on Refresh to Refresh Data.
- Navigate to Refresh >>Schedule Refresh .
- Configure Schedule Refresh >> Apply .
- Navigate to >> Refresh History .
- Here You can See Refresh History
- Navigate to >> Power Bi Desktop>> Odoo Connector By Creyox Technologies.
- To Fetch data Using Sql Query Write Query .
- Click On Button Ok.
- The Imported Data Can Be found in Power Bi Sheet.
- In Odoo Navigate to Power Bi Connector >> Data Processing Logs .

- Seamless support for Power BI Tenant ensures centralized access and enhanced security for shared reports.
- Navigate to Power Bi Connector.
- Navigate to Configuration .
- Click on New.
- Navigate to the Notebook page Authentication and enter your credentials.
- Click on Test Connection button.
- After successful authentication, an access token will be generated.
- Click button Fetch Workspaces to retrieve workspaces from Power BI.
- Use the smart button to access the list of workspaces associated with this account.
- Navigate to the Workspace menu to view all workspaces.
- Workspaces serve as containers in Power BI where reports, dashboards, and datasets are organized and managed.
- Pro License: Used for standard Power BI features like Eventhouse, KQL databases, and creating/sharing reports.
- Premium / PPU License: Required for deployment pipelines, moving content between Development, Test, and Production stages.
- Click the Fetch Eventhouses button to retrieve all existing eventhouses in this workspace from Power BI.
- Eventhouse serves as a workspace in Power BI to manage streaming data, events, and real-time analytics.
- Use the smart button to access the list of Eventhouses associated with this workspace.
- Click on New button to create a new Eventhouse in odoo.
- It can be created and accessed using a Pro license without requiring Premium.
- Click Create in Power BI button to create a new eventhouse in PowerBI.
- The new Eventhouse is successfully created in the selected Power BI workspace from Odoo.
- Navigate to Workspace >> Eventhouse
- Click the Fetch Databases button to retrieve all existing KQL databases in this eventhouse from Power BI.
- KQL databases are used to store and query large volumes of structured and semi-structured data in Power BI.
- Use the smart button to access the list of KQL Databases associated with this Eventhouse.
- Click on New button to create a new KQL Database in odoo.
- Click Create in Power BI button to create a new KQL Database in PowerBI within this eventhouse.
- KQL databases can be created and accessed using a Pro license without requiring Premium.
- The new KQL Database is successfully created in the selected Power BI eventhouse from Odoo.
- Navigate to workspace
- Click the Fetch Datasets button to retrieve all existing datasets in this workspace from Power BI.
- Use the smart button to access the list of Datasets associated with this Workspace.
- Navigate to Workspace
- Click the Fetch Reports button to retrieve all existing reports in this workspace from Power BI.
- Use the smart button to access the list of Reports associated with this Workspace.
- Navigate to notebook page Embedding Settings
- Enable Allow Embedding to view reports within odoo.
- Click on View Embedded button to see the report
- Reports can be viewed and edited directly from this section.
- Clicking the Open in Power BI button redirects you to the corresponding report in the Power BI web portal.
- Navigate to Workspace
- Click the Fetch Dashboard button to retrieve all existing dashboards in this workspace from Power BI.
- Navigate to Power BI Connector >> Power BI Reports >> Dashboards >
- Use the smart button to access the list of Tiles associated with this Dashboard.
- All tile details are stored and displayed in this section.
- Click on View Embedded button to see the dashboard
- Clicking the Open in Power BI button redirects you to the corresponding dashboard in the Power BI web portal.
- Navigate to Power BI Connector >> Configuration
- Click the Fetch Pipelines button to retrieve data pipelines from Power BI.
- Navigate to the Data Pipelines menu to view all data pipelines once they have been successfully fetched.
- Navigate to the smart button to easily access and manage all stages from a single location.
- Once all workspaces are fetched in Odoo, any workspace assigned to a particular stage will be automatically linked.
- If no workspaces are assigned, you can manually select a workspace from here.
- You can only select workspaces that are published in Power BI.
- Carefully choose workspaces that are not assigned to any other stage or pipeline, as each workspace can belong to only one stage and one pipeline.
- Only workspaces that are on Premium capacity or Premium Per User (PPU) license plans are permitted to be assigned in a data pipeline. standard Pro or free workspaces won't be available for data pipelines.
- Click the Assign Workspace button to link a workspace to the selected stage of pipeline in Power BI.
- The workspace has been successfully assigned in Power BI.
- Click the Unassign Workspace button to remove a workspace from the selected stage of pipeline in Power BI.
- The Deploy to Next Stage button initiates the pipeline deployment process
- Copying or updating Power BI content from one stage to the next (e.g., Development => Test)
- The pipeline has been successfully deployed in Power BI, moving content from the Development stage to the Test stage.
What is the Odoo to Power BI Desktop Connector?

Can multiple workspaces be managed within Odoo?
Yes, you can manage multiple workspaces directly within Odoo, including creating, fetching multiple eventhouses and databases within workspaces.
