Simple 18+ confirmation popup for your Odoo website
Overview
Website Age Verification shows a blocking popup so visitors must confirm they are at least 18 years old before browsing your site. After confirmation the choice is stored in the browser session, so the popup does not reappear on every page view. Ideal for alcohol, tobacco or other age-restricted webshops â install and go, with no extra configuration required.

Visitors cannot browse until they confirm they are 18 or older. Declining shows a clear access-denied message.
Session memory
Confirmation is stored in sessionStorage so returning visitors in the same browser session are not asked again on every click.
Zero configuration
Active as soon as the module is installed. No settings screens, no third-party website frameworks.
Translatable texts
Popup labels are standard Odoo translateable strings (English source, Dutch translation included).
How it works
- Install Website Age Verification from Apps.
- Open your website in a private / incognito window to test the popup.
- Choose Yes, I am 18 or older to continue, or No, I am under 18 to stay blocked.
- Uninstall the module to remove the popup entirely.
Requirements
Odoo 17 Community or Enterprise with website.
No third-party custom modules required.
