Delivery Base Extra Options
Description
This module is designed to enhance delivery order processing by offering additional package delivery options.
Functionality
Install this module, navigate to the “Inventory” app, and under the “Products” menu, select the “Products” option.
Select any random products, and under the “Inventory” tab, enable the “Hazmat” boolean, and enter the values in the “LTL class” field, which propagates to the package details.
Navigate to the Sales app and create a sales order with multiple products on the order line. Confirm the order that generates the delivery order.
Click on the “Put in Pack” button under the delivery order line, which triggers the Package Details selection wizard to display the maximum values of “LTL Class” and the enabled boolean “Hamzat”.
Click the “Packages” button, and the packages can be seen in the stock quant package form.
The “Add a Package” button will be visible only after the “Put in Pack” button operation is completed.
The “Add a Package” button is included in the stock picking form to add additional packages to the delivery order. Also, the LTL class and Hazmat value can be included for this package too.
The “Quantity” field is included in the Package Details selection wizard. For example, if the “Quantity” of 3 is entered, 3 packages with the same “LTL Class” values will be created, and the “Hazmat” boolean will be shown in the newly added packages in the stock quant package form.
