Dairy Farm Management Odoo App
Dairy Farm Management Odoo App gives a dairy business one place to look after its animals and
its milk. Keep a record for every cow or buffalo, follow their health, breeding and weight,
and record how much milk comes in each day, both from your own animals and from outside
suppliers.
Milk is written up on daily sheets and priced from your fat and SNF rates, so what you pay
suppliers and what you hold in stock is worked out for you. Collected milk flows into
inventory, vendor bills are raised from the sheets, and a status of Draft, In Process and Done
keeps the daily routine clear and easy to check.
A milk sheet analysis view and a full set of printable reports (per animal, per vendor,
health, breeding, weight and daily production) show how the farm is doing. It suits dairy farms
and milk collection centres that want herd records and milk accounting together in Odoo.

Milk Management
The Dairy Farm Management system streamlines milk collection through
a structured Milk Sheet workflow that manages both internal farm
animals and external vendor supplies. Each record captures essential
data including animal type, time slots (AM, Noon, PM), and precise
quality metrics like fat and protein percentages, which
automatically calculate the total quantity and payment amount. To
ensure data accuracy, every sheet progresses through a lifecycle
from Draft to In Process and finally to Done, providing a clear
audit trail from initial collection to final processing.
Main Features:
- Manage comprehensive vendor profiles with contact details and location tracking.
- Track separate milk sheets for both internal farm animals and external vendor supplies.
- Record vital milk quality parameters including Fat, Lactose, Protein, and Mineral percentages.
- Monitor milk collection across multiple time slots including AM, PM, and Noon sessions.
- Process data through a structured lifecycle from Draft to In-Process and Finalized states.

Health & Veterinary
The system provides a comprehensive suite of tools under the
'Details' menu to monitor and record the vital health metrics of
livestock. Users can maintain detailed Weight Records to track
growth and physical development by logging the animal's age and
weight over specific dates. The Checkup Record (Animal Health)
feature allows for professional veterinary documentation, where
users can record specific diagnoses like Mastitis, assign a treating
doctor, schedule monthly check-ups, and log associated treatment
fees. Additionally, the Breeding Records section ensures
reproductive health is managed by tracking heat dates, pregnancy
diagnoses, and expected calving dates to maintain a healthy herd
cycle.
Main Features:
- Comprehensive tracking of medical history, including specific diagnoses (e.g., Mastitis), attending doctors, and treatment fees to ensure professional veterinary care.
- Systematic recording of animal weight and age over time, allowing farmers to monitor growth patterns and physical development for better health management.

Inventory & Supplies
Inventory & Supplies in the Dairy Farm Management system ensures
that all collected milk is accurately transferred into farm stock in
a controlled and traceable way. From the Daily Milk Sheet, milk is
selected by animal type and time slot (AM, Noon, PM), and once
processed, the system automatically generates stock movements that
move the milk from the farming location to the warehouse inventory.
The workflow tracks each batch through Draft, Processing, and Done
states, records exact quantities, and updates warehouse stock in
real time. It also links milk collection with vendor sheets, showing
whether milk is fully or partially loaded into inventory, ensuring
transparency, accurate stock levels, and reliable supply tracking
for billing, storage, and further operations.
Main Features:
-
Time & Animal-Wise Tracking:
Milk is managed by animal type and collection time (AM, Noon, PM) for accurate recording. -
Real-Time Inventory Updates:
Stock levels are updated instantly when milk is processed, ensuring correct warehouse data. -
Partial & Full Load Control:
The system tracks whether milk is partially or fully loaded into inventory, preventing duplicate stock and billing errors.
Milk Inventory Processing
Milk sheets with Done status will be eligible to be transferred into Milk Inventory.
Click Done to complete the Milk Inventory process.
After it is marked as Done, the milk is stored in stock.
Inventory Milk Stock View
When only part of the milk quantity is loaded, the Milk Sheet shows a Partially Loaded status.
A required validation appears if the selected Milk Sheet does not contain milk for the chosen animal, or if the sheet is already fully completed.
A partially loaded Milk Sheet can be completed and marked as Fully Loaded.
When all the milk is transferred to stock, the system shows the Stock Loaded status.
