3CX and Odoo Integration (v17)

License: Odoo Proprietary License v1.0

Seamlessly connect your 3CX phone system with Odoo. Incoming and outgoing calls are matched to Odoo Contacts and logged automatically in the contact's chatter/journal, so your team always sees a complete interaction history.

Highlights

  • Caller identification - Match phone numbers to Odoo contacts in real time.
  • Automatic call logging - Create chatter/journal entries for inbound/outbound calls.
  • Operational visibility - Keep a clean, searchable communication timeline per contact.
  • Secure & configurable - API-key based, works with your own 3CX template.
  • Practical scope - Focused on lookup + logging (no click-to-call from Odoo).

How It Works (at a glance)

  1. 3CX receives/makes a call and sends metadata to Odoo.
  2. Odoo tries to match the number with Contact phone/mobile.
  3. A call entry is created on the Contact (direction, time, basic details).
  4. Your users see the call history directly in Odoo.

FAQ

Does this module support click-to-call from Odoo?
No. The scope is caller lookup + call logging. Calls originate in 3CX.
Is multi-company supported?
Yes. Configure credentials per company to isolate logs as needed.
What about 3CX v18?
v18 templates are deprecated by 3CX. Use v20 whenever possible. If you must use v18, verify importability with 3CX and report issues in our tracker.
