How It Works

Administrator Configuration |
Administrators have full control. In the General Settings, specify exactly which Odoo modules display the QR button. Define how many hours the link remains valid and set a strict MB file size limit to protect your database.

Generate the Upload Link |
Open a record (e.g., a Sales Order or Helpdesk Ticket) and click the new QR icon located at the top of the chatter. A secure dialog box will appear. The person in the field can scan this QR code directly, or you can copy the link to send via email/SMS.

The Mobile Upload Experience |
Scanning the code opens a secure, lightweight web app on the user's phone. They can type a log note, tap Camera to snap live photos, or tap Select Files to upload documents. No app installation is required.
