Configure AI OCR Settings
Navigate to Settings and select the OCR AI menu. Here you can set the default AI provider (like Google Gemini,Groq or OpenAI) and manage your API configurations.
Manage API Configurations
Click on "New" to create a specific API configuration for your provider. You can define unique keys and sequences for different companies.
Setup API Key & Provider
Enter your API Key and select your AI Provider (e.g., Groq). Please note that Groq does not support PDF files directly, so you should upload image formats (PNG, JPG, JPEG) when using this provider. You can also enable a Mock OCR API with dummy data for testing purposes without consuming credits.
Test Connection
Use the "Test Configuration" button to verify your credentials. A successful connection ensures that the AI service is valid and ready to process documents.
Upload Document for OCR
From your document list (e.g., Sales Orders), use the "Upload with OCR" button. Select the document type and upload your PDF or image file.

You can change the file and re-extract data from the new file from one place.
AI Data Extraction
The AI automatically parses the document and extracts key data into a structured JSON format. Review the extracted fields before creating the record.
Automatic Record Creation
With one click, the system creates the Odoo record (e.g., Quotation) with all line items, customer details, and pricing populated automatically.
