Odoo Point of Sale Module – Cashdro Payment Integration

This module enables seamless integration of a Cashdro cash payment machine directly within Odoo's Point of Sale (POS) system. It provides a smooth, secure, and fully automated cash payment experience via the POS interface—ideal for businesses using a Cashdro device for cash management.

Configuration

  1. Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Point of Sale.
  2. Open the relevant Point of Sale configuration.
  3. In the Cashdro section, fill in:
    • Enable Cashdro (checkbox)
    • IP address of the Cashdro machine
    • User for Cashdro
    • Password for Cashdro
    • Payment mode name to associate
  4. Save the configuration.

How It Works

  1. On the payment screen, click the Cashdro Pay button (banknote icon).
  2. The module automatically initiates the cash payment process via Cashdro and shows real-time status in the POS.
  3. Once the transaction is accepted, the payment is registered in Odoo.

Visual Preview

  • Cashdro Pay button: appears in the payment methods list on the POS payment screen.
  • Cashdro interface: is displayed to the right in an iframe for live transaction tracking.

Dependencies & Compatibility

  • Compatible with Odoo POS (Odoo 17).
  • Requires a Cashdro machine connected to the same network as the Odoo server.
  • Depends on the native point_of_sale module.

Ce module permet l’intégration d’un automate de paiement Cashdro directement dans le Point de Vente (POS) Odoo. Il offre une expérience de paiement fluide et sécurisée, gérée automatiquement via l’interface POS. Idéal pour les commerces utilisant une caisse automatique Cashdro pour la gestion des espèces.

Fonctionnalités

  • Ajoute un bouton Cashdro Pay dans l’écran de paiement du POS.
  • Permet au vendeur de lancer le paiement en espèces via l’automate Cashdro connecté.
  • Affiche en temps réel l’interface Cashdro dans un iframe au sein du POS Odoo.
  • Configuration simple depuis la fiche du point de vente : adresse IP de la machine, utilisateur, mot de passe, etc.
  • Gestion sécurisée des transactions et synchronisation automatique du paiement dans Odoo.

Configuration

  1. Accédez au menu Point de Vente > Configuration > Points de Vente.
  2. Ouvrez le point de vente concerné.
  3. Dans l’onglet Cashdro (ou la section correspondante), renseignez :
    • Activer Cashdro (checkbox)
    • IP de la machine Cashdro
    • Utilisateur Cashdro
    • Mot de passe Cashdro
    • Nom du mode de paiement à associer
  4. Enregistrez la configuration.

Utilisation en caisse

  1. À l’étape du paiement sur le POS, cliquez sur le bouton Cashdro Pay (icône billets).
  2. Le module lance automatiquement la procédure de paiement via l’automate Cashdro et affiche le suivi dans l’interface.
  3. Une fois la transaction acceptée, le paiement est enregistré dans Odoo.

Aperçu visuel

  • Bouton Cashdro Pay : apparaît dans la colonne des modes de paiement sur l’écran de paiement POS.
  • Interface Cashdro : s’affiche à droite sous forme d’iframe, pour un suivi en direct de la transaction.
