Check Payment Transaction Management
Full lifecycle tracking: Draft → Received/Issued → Deposited → Posted/Returned → Cancelled. Separate workflows for inbound and outbound checks with check endorsement functionality and unique check number validation per bank journal.
Automatic Journal Entry Creation
Auto-generates journal entries at each check state transition. Supports multi-currency transactions with proper conversion, analytic account integration for cost tracking, and proper debit/credit entries for receivables and payables.
Calendar Integration & Reminders
Automatic calendar events for check payment dates with configurable reminder notifications. Partner notification on check due dates ensures you never miss a check payment deadline.
Bank Journal Configuration
Custom journal types: Payable, Receivable, Deposit, Refund. Bank journal designation for check processing with flexible account mapping per journal type.
Check State Management
