What Does This Module Do?
Ever needed to turn an existing Invoice or Vendor Bill into a Sale Order? This module adds a "Generate Sale Order" button directly on the Invoice and Bill forms. With one click, a fully populated draft Sale Order is created with partner details, product lines, pricing, taxes, and fiscal settings are all carried over automatically.

Instant Generation
Turn any Customer Invoice or Vendor Bill into a draft Sale Order with a single button press.
Complete Line Transfer
Products, quantities, unit prices, discounts, UoMs, and tax mappings are all transferred to the new Sale Order.
Smart Counter Badge
A stat button on the Invoice/Bill shows how many Sale Orders were generated, with direct navigation.
Document Linking
Every generated Sale Order stores a reference back to its origin Invoice or Bill for audit and traceability.
Fiscal Settings Carried Over
Payment terms, fiscal position, and partner pricelist are automatically applied to the new Sale Order.
Zero Configuration

Step-by-Step Workflow
Open an Invoice or Bill
Go to Accounting → Invoices or Bills and open any record that has product lines.
Hit "Generate Sale Order"
Click the highlighted button in the form header to instantly create a new draft Sale Order.
Review & Confirm the SO
The Sale Order opens with all data pre-filled. Review it, make any adjustments, and confirm.
