STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO'S FUNCTIONS

Odoo limits the possibility for leads & opportunities management in the following ways:

1. Odoo proposes to close a lead or to convert an opportunity with the option to create a new customer or not. However, Odoo does not propose to mark a lead as lost AND create a new customer.

2.  In Odoo Standard, the opportunity is an open object without any easy way to pre-define the sales speech of your sales team.

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS

1/ Cluedoo adds the option "Mark Lost & Create contact" on a lead.

2/ When you contact a prospect, you need to ask a list of questions to better understand customer needs and to identify opportunities.

Pre-defined questions on CRM opportunities help your sales team keep in mind all the key questions, select pre-defined answers, and record notes and specific responses.

MODULE +

This module provides the following benefits:

1. An extra option in order to manage leads, which are prospects without any current opportunity. It provides the possibility to proactively manage your book of prospects independently from your book of opportunities.

2. It is easy to configure and supports the sales team by providing key questions and expected answers. This is a good tool for sales teams.

BUSINESS CASE

After a meeting on a fair trade, you contact a prospect. His current project is booked but he's interested in keeping in touch for future opportunities. So, this lead will be Marked as Lost as the lead is lost; however, you would want to Create a Contact, as you want to keep the lead in your database, with the history of the communication on the first lead. Perhaps this could lead to the possibility to launch a newsletter, and other potential projects.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION

1. Install on 100% of database using Odoo CRM. It's important to give this option to your sales team in order to improve the CRM with your prospects' database and not only your pipeline.
2. Install on your CRM if your sales speech is following a general list of questions or if you need to get mandatory answers from your customer.
