STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
By default, Odoo allows users to create Backorders for Sales Orders or Purchase Orders when partial deliveries or receipts are processed, but this is typically done after confirming the initial order and accessing the associated delivery or receipt in the Inventory module. Users cannot directly set the Quantity to Backorder or Scheduled Date during the backorder creation process from the Sales or Purchase Order interface.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
This module helps you:
- Adds a BackOrder button in the Sales Order and Purchase Order forms, allowing users to initiate backorder creation directly from the order interface.
- Enables users to specify the Quantity to Backorder and Scheduled Date during the backorder creation process, providing greater control and flexibility.
- Automatically generates a Backorder Transfer with the specified quantity and scheduled date, while updating the original transferâs quantity to reflect the backorder.
