STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO BEHAVIOR

A partner (company or individual) has the same right, whether it is just a prospect with a phone number or a partner with customer/supplier orders.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR

By implementing a qualification process on the partner record, it becomes possible to manage both an unqualified partner database—with limited input quality—and a smaller, qualified partner database containing high-quality, verified information.

MODULE +

This qualification allows the use of unqualified partners for marketing and sales purposes (e.g., sending newsletters without needing a bank account). Once a contractual relationship is established—such as through an order, invoice, or payment—complete partner information is then required. This approach helps resolve the conflict between the sales department, which wants to include as many partners as possible in the database, and the finance department, which insists on having complete and verified partner information.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION

We recommend launching the module in phase 2 of integration. It's a big improvement, but quite time-consuming to make a full audit of the partner database at the same time as the initial GoLive.
