STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO BEHAVIOR

A partner (company or individual) is defined by the name - the internal reference - the type of company.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOUR

A partner can be called by his legal name, required for official documents and a short name which is the use name of the company.


MODULE+

User does no more need to make a choice between the legal entity name and the daily name: you can use simple name in your system but all your official document are valid because using the required legal entity name.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION

Systematic installation at database creation to force the use of legal name on the field name but still give the flexibility to use a common name for internal use. Installed and used on 100% of our databases. Strongly recommended on companies with several scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Latin, etc).

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE ?

On your company contact, you can give it a short name.

In companies settings, the short name will automatically be synchronized with the one defined in the contacts.

You can find your company and its collaborators by directly typing the short name in the search bar.

You also have the possibility to directly search by short name.
