ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo lets you select the client in POS before making the payments but not when you want to send the receipt.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
Cluedoo provides the option to search for and select the client to get an email address after making a payment. This email address serves for the purpose of sending a POS receipt only.

When we want to send the receipt to the customer, we can select the partner to whom we want to send the receipt

It will show the list of partners, and when we click one, it will set the email automatically
