Access Group Requirement:

A user (Who need to manage search for other users) must belong to the Hide Filters Group By Module group to use this feature. This ensures that only authorized users can manage and control GroupBy visibility.

Hide Filters and GroupBy

Go to General Settings -> Hide Filters and GroupBy -> Enable Hide Filters and GroupBy.

Choose Globally When selected, the module hides all Filters and GroupBy options and keeps only the Favorites visible for all users.

Choose Custom Option

Select Custom Models: choose which models (Sales, Invoices, Contacts, etc.) will have Filters & GroupBy hidden. Per User Control: decide whether the rule applies globally or only to specific users.

Make Sure !

Users who need to access custom filter and groupby restrictions must be added to the security group "Hide Groupby (IR Model)" under the Custom Security category. Without this group, they will not have the required read access on ir.model and will not be able to apply or manage the custom filter/groupby rules.
