Product Approval WorkFlow
Description
This module adds state management to products. Products are created in 'Draft' state and can't be used in sales/purchase orders until confirmed by a Product Manager.
Once confirmed, product information becomes read-only to prevent unauthorized modifications.
Features
- → Default Product is created in 'Draft' state.
- → 'Product Manager' can review and confirm products.
- → After confirmation, users can't update product information.
- → 'Product Manager' can move confirmed products back to draft state.
- → Users can only use confirmed products in sales orders, purchase orders, manufacturing, etc.
Setup
After module installation, assign 'Product Manager' access to users who need to approve products.
Normal users can create products in draft state, but only Product Managers can confirm them.
Once a product is confirmed, it becomes available for use in sales and purchase transactions.
