Configure User Permissions for Order Cancellation
Navigate to Settings → Users & Companies → Users and open the desired user. Under the Order Cancellation section, enable Allow Sale Order Cancellation and Allow Manufacturing Order Cancellation. These permissions ensure that only authorized users can perform force cancellation operations.
Force Cancel a Sale Order View
Open a confirmed Sale Order and click the Force Cancel button. This option allows users to cancel orders even after standard Odoo restrictions would normally prevent cancellation.
Sale Order Successfully Cancelled View
The Sale Order is successfully cancelled, and related deliveries and invoices are automatically reversed. Delivered stock quantities are restored and a log entry is recorded in the chatter for traceability.
Access Related Documents After Cancellation View
Users can review related invoices and restore the cancelled Sales Order back to quotation using the available actions.
Delivery Order Automatically Cancelled View
The related Delivery Order linked to the Sales Order is automatically cancelled during the force cancellation process. This ensures inventory consistency and prevents orphaned stock operations.
Force Cancel a Manufacturing Order View
The module allows users to force cancel completed Manufacturing Orders, providing flexibility even after production has been finished.
Manufacturing Stock Moves Automatically Cancelled View
All stock moves generated by the Manufacturing Order are automatically cancelled, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining stock consistency.
Can I cancel completed Sale Orders and Manufacturing Orders?
The module allows authorized users to force cancel Sale Orders and Manufacturing Orders even after deliveries, invoices, or production processes have been completed.
