Go to Sales → Configuration → Settings and enable Units of Measure & Packagings to start selling and purchasing products in different units of measure or packagings.

Open any product, enable Need Secondary UoMs and click Add a line to open the Create Secondary UoM wizard — select your Secondary UoM, enter the ratio and the system instantly shows the conversion (e.g. 1 Dzones = 12.0 Units). Save & Close or Save & New to add multiple UoMs.

On every sale order line, select your Secondary UoM and enter the secondary quantity — the base quantity converts automatically using the defined ratio. Here 4 Dzones converts instantly to 48 Units, keeping your order accurate without any manual calculation.

Once the sale order is confirmed, the customer invoice is automatically created with the correct base quantity — 48 Units carried from the sale order with full tax calculation, payment terms and amount due ready for posting.

After order confirmation, the sales order displays both base quantity (48 Units) and secondary quantity (4 Dzones) side by side — with invoiced quantity automatically updated and full order tracking from quotation to sales order in one view.

The printed invoice PDF displays both Secondary Qty and Secondary UoM columns alongside the base quantity — giving customers complete visibility of units in Dzones and Units together with full tax breakdown and payment details in every transaction.
