Chatter: Download & Delete files options
Empowering Control: Download & Delete with Ease
Overview
This module designed to enhance the functionality of the Chatter feature by providing users with convenient options to download and delete all attachments associated with record. This module streamlines workflow efficiency by allowing users to manage attachments seamlessly within the Chatter interface, facilitating smoother collaboration and document management processes.
Installation
① Easy Installation
Simply head to the Apps menu and search for "Chatter: Download & Delete files options" Once you locate the module, click on it for a quick and easy installation. That's it!
Options
Buttons
Users have two convenient options in the chatter area: "Download All" and "Delete All".
By clicking these buttons, users can effortlessly download all attachments as a zip file or delete them all simultaneously.
Status
① User Message
When users click on either the "Download All" or "Delete All" button, the system will display a convenient message to notify them that the process is underway.
This ensures users are informed of the ongoing operation and can track its progress accordingly.
Delete
Delete
When a user clicks on "Delete All", a confirmation window will pop up. This message window assists users in ensuring the delete process, helping to avoid human mistakes and providing an additional layer of security and confidence in their actions.
Download
Download
When a user clicks on "Download All," the system will generate a zip file containing all available attachments for the corresponding record. Users can then access all the attachments from the zip file by extracting its contents, providing a convenient way to manage and access multiple files associated with the record.
