Kaizen POS Orders List & Receipt Barcode by Kaizen Principles Helps retail teams retrieve past sales faster while keeping the POS interface clean. Administrators can enable an in-POS âOrdersâ panel and define how much history to load (Current Day/Session, Last 3/5 Sessions, or All). Staff can review Draft and Posted orders without leaving the POS, and receipts can include a scannable barcode that instantly pulls up the order for reprints, returns, or audits. Enable Orders Panel & History Scope
Turn on Show POS Orders in POS to add the Orders panel inside the POS. Choose the Session Limit to control how much history loads (e.g., current day/session or last 3/5/all). Decide whether to include Draft and/or Posted orders for quick lookups without leaving the POS
Show Orders Current Session Only
Enable Show POS Orders in POS, then set Session Limit to Only Current Sessionâs Orders. This keeps the Orders panel focused on activity from the active session for faster load times and tighter access, ideal for busy counters or shared terminals.
Open the Orders Panel
From the POS screen, click Orders to view past orders without leaving the checkout. Use it to quickly reopen, reprint, or reference orders while continuing to sell no context switching.
Review & Filter Orders
Use the Orders list to browse past sales. Pick a scope from All Orders (e.g., current session/day), search by reference or customer, apply a date filter, and refresh to pull the latest. Click any row to open details or reprint.
Refresh & Select an Order
Click Refresh to pull the latest orders, then select a row to open its details for reprint, return, or review. Use this to ensure youâre working with the most up-to-date sales.
View Order Details
A quick summary of the selected sale: customer, date, total, status, session, and line items. Use this popup to confirm quantities/prices and proceed with reprint or after-sales actions.
Filter Orders by Date
Use the date picker to show orders from a specific day. Combine with the search box for faster lookups and keep the list focused on the timeframe you need.
Filter by Order Status
Use the All Orders dropdown to show only the status you need draft, cancel, paid, done, or invoiced. This keeps the list focused and speeds up reprints, returns, and checks.
Show Only Paid Orders
From the All Orders dropdown, choose paid to list completed, paid sales only. This narrows the view for quick reprints, audits, or end-of-day checks.
Apply âPaidâ Status Filter
Open the All Orders dropdown and pick paid to show only completed, paid sales. Use this view for quick reprints, audits, and end-of-day reconciliation; combine with the date/search box to narrow results further.
Show Orders Current Day Only
Enable Show POS Orders in POS, then set Session Limit to Only Current Day Orders. This loads just todayâs sales into the Orders panel for faster performance and a cleaner view during daily operations.
Access Orders from the POS Screen
On the POS keypad toolbar, click Orders to open the in-POS orders panel. This lets you review todayâs/session orders and reopen or reprint without leaving checkout.
Browse Orders List
Review past sales in a clean table view use All Orders to pick a scope, the search box to find by ref/customer, and the date picker to focus on a specific day. Click any row to open details or reprint.
Show Orders Last 3 Sessions
Enable Show POS Orders in POS, then set Session Limit to Load last 3 Sessionâs Orders. This loads a recent multi-day history without slowing the POS perfect for quick reprints and checks across the last few sessions. Donât forget to Save

On the POS screen, click Orders to view the list preloaded with the last 3 sessions you selected in settings. Quickly browse, reopen, or reprint without leaving checkout.

The Orders list is preloaded with the last 3 sessions. Use All Orders to switch scope, the search box to find by ref/customer, and the date picker to narrow the timeframe. Click a row to open details or reprint.
Show Orders Last 5 Sessions
Enable Show POS Orders in POS, then set Session Limit to Load last 5 Sessionâs Orders. This preloads a broader recent history for quick reprints and checks across multiple days while keeping the POS responsive. Donât forget to Save.
Show Orders All Sessions
Enable Show POS Orders in POS, then set Session Limit to Load all Sessionâs Orders to make the Orders panel include the full history. Use only on smaller databases or for admin reviews on very large datasets this can slow the POS.
Browse Orders (All Sessions)
View the complete order history across all sessions in one list. Use All Orders for scope, the search box to find by reference or customer, and the date picker to narrow results. Ideal for audits and global reviews mind performance on very large databases.
Include Draft & Posted Orders
Under Display Orders in POS, enable Show POS Orders in POS and tick Show Draft Orders and Show Posted Orders. This lets cashiers see both in-progress and finalized sales directly in the Orders panel useful for reprints, checks, and continuing draft work.
Enable Barcode on Receipt
Turn on Show Barcode in Receipt to print a unique, scannable barcode on each POS receipt. This lets staff pull up the exact order in one scan for reprints, returns, or audits no manual search needed. Remember to Save.
Payment Success & Receipt Barcode
After completing payment, print the receipt your orderâs scannable barcode appears at the bottom. Staff can scan it later to instantly reopen the order for reprints, returns, or audits, avoiding manual searches.
View Barcode on POS Order (Back-end)
Open the POS order in the back-end and go to Extra Info to see the saved Barcode along with receipt number and other details. Use this to verify scans, troubleshoot reprints, or share the code with support teams.
