Geolocation Map Widget (Contacts)
Pin precise GPS coordinates on any contactâsearch, drag, and save in seconds. This widget adds an interactive Leaflet map to the Contact form so your team can search an address or place name, drop a marker, and store the exact latitude/longitude in a JSON field. Perfect for delivery routing, field service visits, and sales territory planning.

Create or Open a Customer
Add the Customer Location
Set Location on Map & Save
From the Odoo home dashboard, click Contacts to open the app. This takes you to the partner list where you can open or create a contact and use the Geolocation Map field to capture and save the exact GPS coordinates.
In the Contacts app, either click New to create a customer, or select an existing customer card to open their record. Youâll then be able to use the Geolocation Map field on the contact form to search, pin, and save exact GPS coordinates.
On the customer form, find the Coordinates field and click the map button. In the popover, type an address or place in the search bar, press Enter (or Search), then drag the marker to the exact spot. Click Save Coordinates to fill latitude (Ï) and longitude (λ) on the form, then save the contact.
In the popover, use the search box to find the address/place, then drag the blue pin to the exact spot (zoom with +/â if needed). Click Save Coordinates to write the latitude (Ï) and longitude (λ) back to the Coordinates field on the contact, then save the record.
