Review Active Employment Contract
Start by verifying the employeeâs current contract details before initiating the end-of-service process. This includes contract duration, salary structure, job title, wage type, and monthly wage. Accurate contract data ensures precise settlement calculations and legal compliance. Any changes in wage or contract terms should be finalized here before proceeding to the EOS computation.
Initiate Salary Increment Request
Begin the salary adjustment process by creating a new increment request for the selected employee. Enter the proposed updated wage based on the employeeâs active contract and wage type. This request will move through HRâs controlled approval flowâstarting from draft, then submitted, and finally to approval or refusal. Ensure all details are accurate before submission to maintain payroll integrity and avoid downstream corrections.
Submit Increment Request for Approval
Once the proposed salary adjustment is reviewed, submit the request for managerial approval. At this stage, the form becomes read-only for the employee, and designated HR or contract managers are automatically notified. The approver can now review the request, approve the changes to update the contract, or refuse with justification. Every submission is logged in Odooâs chatter for full transparency and future auditing.
Apply Increment to Contract
Once the salary increment is approved, the new wage is automatically written into the employeeâs active contractâensuring consistency across payroll, reporting, and accounting. This update is clearly logged in Odooâs chatter, showing both the previous and revised wage for full transparency. With the contract now reflecting the approved amount, monthly payroll runs and compliance checks remain accurate and audit-readyâno manual intervention required.
