Purchase Discount
Advanced Discount Management for Purchase Orders
This module allows vendors and procurement teams to manage negotiated pricing efficiently using multiple discount strategies.

Supported Discount Types
1. Per-Line Discount (Percentage)
Apply a percentage discount across all purchase order lines. The discount is calculated per unit price while preserving the original price.
2. Per-Line Discount (Fixed Amount)
Apply a fixed discount amount distributed across all quantities in purchase order lines.
3. Global Discount (Percentage)
Apply a percentage discount on the total order amount. A separate negative discount line is created for transparency.
4. Global Discount (Fixed Amount)
Apply a flat discount amount on the entire purchase order, ideal for negotiated vendor discounts.
Security & Access Control
Only authorized users can apply discounts. Assign the Discount on Purchase Order Lines group to control access.
Discount Wizard
A user-friendly wizard allows you to choose the discount type, enter the discount value, and apply it instantly. The Discount button is available only in RFQ (Draft/Sent) states.
