➥ Odoo can handle various delivery methods, including third party shippers. Odoo can be linked with the transportation company tracking system. It will allow you to manage the transport company, the real prices and the destination.
∘ Here's how you can utilize this functionality:
❉ Configure Your Products:-
➥Install the shipper company connector module.
➥When creating the product, input the necessary logistical information such as weight, length, height, and width to facilitate integration with Maruti Courier shipping.
❉ Configure the delivery method:-
➥ To configure your delivery methods, go to the Inventory module, click on Configuration -> Shipping Methods. This is the name that will appear on your Ecommerce site also.
➥ After selecting Provider, you can specify Company and Delivery Product in the respective fields. The percentage mentioned in the Margin on Rate field will be added to the shipping cost.
➥ Activate the Free if the order amount is above the field if you want to provide free shipping for orders with an amount equal to or more than the value specified in the Amount field. The tab available in this window will change based on the Provider you select. Here, we select the Fixed Price option. So we will get a tab named Pricing where you can mention the Fixed Price of this shipping method.
➥ In the Maruti Shipping Configuration tab, you can specify the Authentication information like Login Email, Login Password, etc.
➥ If you are in the Test Environment, please provide the Test URLs. If you are in Production, please provide the Live URLs.
➥Complete the Picking Address details, including the Picking Partner's name and address.
➥ Additionally, complete the Return Address details, including the Return Partner's name and address. If your Return address matches the Picking address, please indicate by checking the "Same as Picking Address" option.
❉ Pincode Service availablity:-
➥Shree Maruti Courier delivers to lots of places. If a Maruti Courier doesn't deliver to certain areas, the system will display a validation error message saying 'pincode is not serviceable for COD orders'.
❉ Delivery Label:-
➥ You can print the delivery label by clicking on the 'DELIVERY LABEL' button in the delivery Order.
