Menu Item Security for Users using Password in Odoo

Password/PIN Protected Menu Items

(Only for Odoo Enterprise Edition)

This app allows you to lock the outside top menu items as well menu items inside it which is having action on it.

Main Features

  • Allow you to configure Password/Pin on user form so when a user tries to click on top menu items then the system will ask for Password/Pin and after entering it then only they can go inside.
  • Allow you to configure Password/Pin on menu item form so when a user tries to click on child menu items which are having action then the system will ask for Password/Pin and after entering it then only they can go inside the menu.
  • This app only works with Odoo enterprise edition.
  • Important Note :For inside submenu items please make sure menu item where action is available at that menu security work for Parent menus where action is not available then security will not work.
  • For more details please check below screenshots and watch the video.
  • Note: If user try to copy url and open it in browser directly that case can NOT be handle by this app. This app only provide lock on menu click of Odoo.

Configure Menu Security Password/PIN To the User form

User Try to click on Main Top Menu Items

  • System will Show Popup to ask for Security Password/PIN
  • Once User give correct Password/PIN then system allow to go inside of the menu

Now After Go Inside of the Clicked Menus.

Lock Menuitems by security pin

You have set Menuitem by Security Password/PIN To the Menuitem Form. Please note that you have to individually give Password/PIN for every menu items where you want to apply security wizard.

  • Show Popup to ask for security pin
  • Once User set currect pin allow to open Sale Orders
