Overview
- Merge multiple lots into a single lot for the same product.
How to Use Merge Lot Action
Step 1: Go to Lots/Serial Numbers
- Navigate to Inventory â Products â Lots/Serial Numbers.
Step 2: Select Lots for the Same Product
- Select two or more lots that belong to the same product.
- If the selected lots belong to different products, an error will be raised: "Lots must be of the same product."
Step 3: Click the "Merge Lots" Server Action
- From the Action menu, click on Merge Lots.
- The system will combine quantities from the selected lots and create a new lot.
Step 4: New Lot is Created Automatically
- A new lot will be generated with a name like
[ProductCode]-0001,[ProductCode]-0002, etc., based on existing lots. - All internal stock quants from the selected lots will be reassigned to the new lot.
